Welcome to the Stop-Motion Animation Wiki
This purpose of this wiki is to present, in a malleable form, information related to stop-motion animation, with particular emphasis on production. Our goal is to make the articles here useful, accurate, and reasonably well written. We're not aiming for academia, however, so writing can be friendly and informal.
This Stopmo wiki is inspired by and is an (unauthorized) outgrowth of StopMotionAnimation.com and its message boards, where questions and answers often get repeated as new members discover the art form. Although the handbook on that site is very useful, our hope here is to expand upon that resource in a searchable, readily modifiable and expandable format.
